    Lots of questions unanswered.

The name is actually one of its strengths... its called Shivajian after the iconic figure of Shivaji... Every marathi connects well with Shivaji, they feel very proud about him

that means shiv sena supporters can be made to support this club

  • also this dsk grp ads are coming on news channels

any Marathi can be made to support which would include shiv sena supporters also...but the name shiv sena is not derived from shivaji but from shiva (I may be wrong here, but that's what i always knew)

you are wrong shiv sena name came from shivaji the balasaheb thackrey is idolize shivaji

    Ok, thanks for the clarification

  • Shiv Sena is named after Shivaji. Shivaji was named after Goddess Shivai Devi as Shivaji's mother Jijabai worshipped at Shivai Temple at Shivneri Fort. Its near Pune and I have been on Mountain Hike on that fort many years ago.

shivajijan should think of making a move to kolhapur i feel as they could easily get good fan base there

also why give a direct entry to a club in a  state which already have i-league clubs..
if any such backdoor entry then it should be given for non i-league state based investors
