Both Gangtok and Shillong have similar altitude (approx. 1500 meters) as Kathmandu. Indian team should have organised training camp there instead of bangalore.
I would say collect money from Goa and put a penalty on those states like Gujarat, rajasthan, Andhra pradesh, UP, MP, Chhatisgarh, Bihar, Uttaranchal, himachal Pradesh where associations are not doing much. Those states do not have proper state league structure. put a penalty on them for not organising football properly-if no penalty then disband the association and give new people some chance.

Ummm... why penalize them when for all we know they do not even have any money at all?

I would want to go to one of these offices with a hidden camera and bust these Mofo's. What do they do all day? how many are employed? whats their budget? how thick is their mustache? you know important questions.

I would like to do that to. Well not the busting up or the mustache interrogations :D) I just want to know what the reality is. Do they have money or not? I mean, I understand corruption and all that but you need to show at least 1 thing and a district league at least. Yet we do not get anything so I question whether these officials have any money at all.

In any other country with a smart FA we would see this investigated with a report coming out explaining what is happening and then we would see action. With the AIFF however that does not happen and we continue to see nothing come up from it.

We need to know what exactly is happening.

Its called AIFF ALL INDIA ,yes ALL INDIA Football Federation. And anyway 50% of that collected money from one state or state FA players will go to that state alone.

I understand where you are coming from. The fact that the AIFF is wanting fees from amateur clubs is wrong as many of them just can not afford it (most people who follow Indian football however think money grows on trees). They should not do that. I-League teams yes but not amateur sides.

However, I strongly disagree with the notion that we should not put the money into the smaller states. It absolutely should. We need a majority amount of states in order to prove to potential sponsors and the government that there is widespread support for Indian football and demand to make it better. It is absolutely needed.
