At a time when AIFF is cutting corners, having a TD is indulgence. Just to remind you all, Rob Baan costs approx 2.2 crore Ruppes to the AIFF per year for doing I don't know what<br>
Sports Authority of India (SAI) Director General Jiji Thomson suggested to introduce futsal in all schools across India, especially in football states like Bengal, Goa, Kerala and Punjab.
<div>Fine, I will only say this then. If we are really in such a bad position that one of our decisions is to get rid of Baan, then we are truly screwed. </div><div><br></div><div>Baan is the man who took Australian soccer and changed it for the better. He is the one who came up with the youth league, the integration with state leagues, the focus on a Dutch-playing style. He brought them up to #2 in Asia. If we get rid of Baan then what are we left with? O'Donnald was, at best, the Cambodian national coach. Wim was mainly in the Dutch 2nd Division and failed to do much as the HPD of Ireland (where they still use mainly English rejects or Irish players brought up by English clubs).</div><div><br></div><div>So I do not really trust them as much as I do Baan, who actually has an excellent past that we really should take guidance from. And not only that, but then we are also left with the AIFF and IMG-Reliance.</div><div><br></div><div>We are screwed with Baan. He came in India, created a well though of plan (with some mistakes), made excellent plans for coaching courses and was able to serve as a guide for I-League clubs and players. He is literally an inspiration for Indian football that we can not get rid of yet. I don't care how much we are paying him, we need to keep him. We need to save costs? Then cut from the budgets elsewhere like the 2nd Division or other All India tournaments which are useless at this moment. Just don't get rid of Baan just yet, he is far from done.</div>
Its not only AIFF who want to get rid of Bann but Bann also don't want to continue with AIFF because lack of comitment from AIFF to impliment his ideas.

<br><div><br></div><div>Well then. Then who is really useless? Baan or the AIFF.</div>
