I know that but are we(Team India) strong enough to make such decisions? Our bench strength is not that great !!<br>

Seems to be the case going by the standards we are showing every time...WHile in every other country National League is one which gains importance and provides players of top quality , somehow its different in India it seems.
And let us all put to rest comparision of I-League with 3rd -4th division leagues of Europe, USA etc. Time and again its being proven that even with 3rd quality European players, teams can defeat us with Elan..Time to really think the quality of our players and where do they belong ACTUALLY...

The year before our U23 team managed to win the SAFF Cup while we were in the Asian Cup and rising FAST. Then all of a sudden a series of blunders leave us here.</div><div><br></div><div>We should be much better than this. Had the AIFF been smart they could have used the Asian Cup as a parachute for greater pastures. We should be the Uzbekistan of SAFF but instead because we made some very stupid decisions regarding domestic football we are where we are.</div><div><br></div><div>The AIFF should never be forgiven for 2011. It should have pushed us but instead they fucked it up, as always, and now look at where we are! Pieces of shit they are!</div>
AGREED..and really extremely annoying. Every year we hook upo to Indian football thinking its time we really improve, but at the end of the season we see, we have gone lower. Really frustrating for a football fan like me..GOD knows when sun will shine in Indian Football.
