although its nice to promote Women's football, comparing rankings is not fair...Women are simply so much ahead as most country dont have a proper women's team.<br>

Also saying we are closer to the World Cup than women is not true either. Asia gets 3 spots into the FIFA Women's World Cup. Those spots are technically already reserved for Japan, South Korea, Australia, North Korea and some other teams. Also when it comes to Men's vs. Women in Indian football, the men are so much father ahead in development and facilities and (somehow) professionalism. We may be 54 in the world but we are a long way from being 1 of the 16 in the FIFA Women's World Cup. </font></div>
