for AFC cup, AFC gives a subsidy of USD 20000 per AWAY match plus air tickets, hotel, daily allowance. For home match, AFC allows you to keep gete money from sale of tickets. But, doesn't Kingfisher own the club so if East Bengal and Kingfisher separate then that could be it.
Srikanta Dutta a 35-year-old former East Bengal footballer committed suicide on Saturday night.
Srikanta Dutta , who had played for both East Bengal and Mohan Bagan , was found hanging at his Chetla home, say police. He did not leave a suicide note. The police will questionhis family and football colleagues to ascertain why he killed himself.
Dutta last played for Peerless before retiring a couple of years ago. He was a member of East Bengal's first I-league winning team in 2000-2001.
Looking at the year he was at East Bengal I would guess he did not have much in terms of funds and took the easy way out.... or so they say is the easy way out, I say its hard.
Anyway I hope the police find out his motive and that what ever it is gets attention. RIP.
So, East Bengal officials have asked TJ Morgan to look for new foreigner ASAP. According to a local daily, he has been given a free hand in selecting the foreigner without any interference from the officials whatsoever

Dempo has not yet received last seasons I league winning amt of 70 lakhs. EB will get fed cup money next yr. @joyptan.
