When shit clubs from Maldives can do so well why not EB who have 4 years experience in this competition ? They have to make it to next round or else TJM should resign and find some non-footballing job in Australia.

You forgot the two more important cups... the Calcutta Football League and the IFA Shield. There lies the problem. Their priorities where never in the right place.

Unfortunately
East Bengal is easily one of the favorites to reach Round of 16,they have a stable coach,stable team which doesn't have much changes in last few years and ofcourse expreince of playing this competition 1 edition after another.
Exactly. They easily have it in them to progress but they just don't put in the effort needed. Hopefully Morgan's words will be true and they will try this time.

i consider it more as reserve league as the quality of opponents are of that level only
