The 9th GV Raja football tournament is starting from today. Kerala CM Umman Chandi will inaugurate the tournament at University Stadium Trivandrum. 16 Teams accross from India are participating in the tournament. Final on October 2.

Ticket sales inaugurated
Ramesh Chennithala, MLA, inaugurated the sale of season tickets of the SBT-G.V. Raja football tournament at a function held at the TDFA office on Monday.
The tickets would be available for sale at the TDFA office from Tuesday and the cost of a ticket is Rs. 500.
ITC Ltd. will be co-sponsors of the tournament, which will be held at the University stadium from September 19 to October 3. The ITC South India head Nidhin Astana handed over a cheque of Rs. five lakh to Ramesh Chennithala at the function held at the TDFA office. SBT is the title sponsor of the tournament.

Why season ticket, how can a daily wage earner, college going students can buy them @500...a per day 20 rs ticket would have served the purpose....people will come for final only....
