well an expert named Preetam feels that Brazil and german are favourites but supports Germany to win WC and act WC win as tribute to Miroslav Klose....
That is where I disagree about the Aussies. They have a lot of promising youngsters coming out of the system. In goal they have a Mat Ryan who is only 22 and was practically goalkeeper of the year in Belgium and Mitch Langerak who is currently the #2 at Dortmund. In defense they have plenty of youngsters like Curtis Good at Newcastle United (England), Rhys Williams, Michael Zullo in the Netherlands, Craig Goodwin, Trent Sainsbury, Baily Wright, and Josh Brillante.
In the midfield they have Ben Halloran who was a regular in the German 2nd Division, Tommy Oar is a top prospect in the Netherlands, James Holland is doing very well in Austria, Tom Rogic is a former winner of the Nike Football Challenge! And in attack the top scorer in the A-League with 16 goals last season, Adam Taggart is only 21 years old. Matthew Leckie at 23 is a regular in the Germany 2nd Division. 25 year old Robbie Kruse plays for Leverkusin.
Sure, the Aussies will get smashed in a week or two but they are set for the long-run the 2015 AFC Asian Cup will see them do well.
