Damn ...dempo usually had to play gulf and Uzbekistan teams...thus time it would have been east Asian teams which that cn.surely beat..surely they missed a good opportunity..east Asian clubs are a tad easier to pl ay than the west teams...

I hope AFC develop a policy for regular TV telecast of AFC cup games. Right now it is in the hands of clubs. Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia have excellent football stadiums and facilities. It will be great to see Indian clubs playing there on TV.

The Asian Football Confederation is in charge of the distribution of television rights. It is up to TEN Action for if they want to televise or not. Highest bidder.

Properly though I would like the AFC to allow the AIFF to have the rights and then the AIFF (IMG-Reliance) could have added the AFC Cup to the TEN Action deal they got in October.

Its quite easy for East Bengal if they take AFC cup seriously..They are in one of the easiest groups

we can have afc cup matches in neo sports....

i think they would be more than willing to get more live football action on tv... but my doubt is if afc champions league rights are with ESPN then will the afc cup rights be given to another channel in same country???

Again the AFC distributes this and knowing the history of the AFC they will probably give it to NEWS Time or some channel like that.
