Dear supporters and football fans,
despite our best efforts, including financial, technical know how and
financial investments, I have to inform you, that due to legal issues
and the current situation involving Liwing Sports (the legal owner of
Kerala Evergreen F.C. club license), MySport Pte. Ltd. is forced to
terminate all activities, including representing of KEFC or investments.
Just to clarify the situation, MySport Pte. Ltd. approached Liwing
Sports Ltd. as a foreign investor with with a genuine interest in
developing football in India and to financially invest into Kerala
Evergreen F.C. project (including financial cover of club license
purchase). MySport Pte. Ltd. created full business model for the club
(including partners, sponsors) and the company CEO was the person
behind scenes who negotiated with AIFF, KFA, TDFA or even KSFL
regarding Trivandrum Sports Hub. Most of the actions were very
successful and paved the way to play in the forthcoming season of the
I-League. But the official club license was registered by Liwing Sports,
which was suppose to become the subsidy of MySport Pte. Ltd. in
India as per an arrangement.
Unfortunately until now, the directors of Liwing Sports haven’t provided
all the requested and necessary documents (although they were
requested to do so it several times) to proceed with the legal process
of foreign company investments in India and terminated all official
communication with MySport Pte. Ltd. in August 2017. For that reason,
MySport Pte. Ltd. is not able to represent Kerala Evergreen F.C.
regarding investments, operations, HR, discuss with potential partners,
close sponsorship agreements and of course, was unable to submit
the bid for I-League 2017/18.
We already requested management of Liwing Sports to transfer the
club license to third party company or refund the license transfer fee
which was paid by MySport Pte. Ltd. in full, but even this request was
rejected. For that reason, we have lost our trust in Liwing Sports and
MySport Pte. Ltd. will not continue to cooperate with this company
regarding Kerala Evergreen F.C. and we severe our association with
Liwing Sports Pvt. Ltd henceforth.
On 11th August 2017, Liwing Sports Pvt. Ltd. started their own Kerala
Evergreen FC operations under new management and since that
moment, MySport Pte. Ltd. is distancing from any of their activities
taken on behalf of Kerala Evergreen FC!
On the other side, MySport Pte. Ltd would like to continue in youth
football development programmes in cooperation with KFA, TDFA and
south Kerala starting in 2018. We hope, that despite this unfortunate
setback, we will have continuous support of our fans, because
everything we do involving football, we do it for them.
