Nice article and excellent view from a i-league club president. Makes me think the I-league clubs themselves can do a better job in running the i-league than AIFF.

So here is the Joint Statement issued on behalf of AIFF, IMG-R & I-League Clubs on AIFF Website
Office bearers of AIFF , its marketing and commercial partner IMG-R and representatives of I-League Clubs had a fruitful meeting today (August 23) to discuss marketing and promotional plans for I-League.
A scheduling committee has been setup to look into the forthcoming I-League season schedule and will be meeting on Thursday, 29th August 2013.
During the meeting it was also decided to form a marketing committee which will look into the promotional plan for I-League and would have members from AIFF, Clubs, IMG-R and Ten Sports. The committee will meet on Friday, 30th August 2013.
