Chennai..!!! Hahaha...i'm also from Chennai, if they start a club in Chennai don't imagine they will get the same support as Bengaluru bcoz...Chennai don't football fans...I hardly see anybody playing football in Chennai..But Bangalore is different, u can find so many playgrounds in the city, and there will atleast one group of friends playing football there..

Its a big cosmopolitan city, people from goa, kolkata, kerala, north east even foreigners will give support for the home club.

The entire state of Tamil Nadu needs a proper league before getting a team. Something to establish a football culture in the area. Either that or some national team matches to test if there is support in the city.

Also, Chennai will need to go through the direct-team process instead of 2nd Division. We could then hope that a JSW type company comes in to make a Chennai team (like Air Asia for example) and basically "pizzazz" the new Chennai club like JSW have with Bengaluru.

Chennai is an excellent market but we need to make it a viable one first.
