No man-of-the match award at Fed Cup...it's due to budget cuts and makes the tournament appear like a Sevens tournament but with 11 a side. The positives: The dressing rooms grounds are better than most I-League venues..especially Manjeri. Facilities for the media too are very good. Wim is actually in India and has travlled to Kerela to watch the games , as has Savio Madeira.
Good to see clubs like Rangdajied, Shillong Lajong and Eagles causing upsets. All the more reason why Fed Cup should be a season long knock out with more teams..
