    MB needs a draw against Salgaocar  OR Shillong Lajong should beat Mumbai FC. In second case all three will be on 6 points and MB will go thru on goal diff.

    Who wins between Mds and Dempo, that team will go to semis. If draw then goal diff.

    Churchill have qualified : they have 6 points , and only Utd SC can reach 6 points but head to head they lose to CB

    Group B :
    Bengaluru FC lead the group , but any of the 4 teams can qualify ! ...

    Rangdajied take on SportingClub de Goa in the 1st game on 21st...
    1. RUFC win they move to 5 points, and an East Bengal win will see RUFC qualify. 
    RUFC win by 3 goals & East Bengal draw BFC , RUFC will qualify on 5 points

          2.  Sporting beat RUFC and EB beat BFC, Sporting qualify on 6 points
               SC de Goa draw with RUFC  & East Bengal beat BFC , we have a 3 way tie for the teams on 4 points*

    * if east Bengal beat Bengaluru FC by 3 goals or more , they will qualify in this scenario

         4. Irrespective of the result in game 1 , if BFC win against East Bengal , something they failed to do in League then BFC will qualify outright on 7 points.
             If BFC draw with East Bengal and reach 5 points , they need a draw in the 1st game or a Rangdajied win 2 zero , BFC will go thru on the number of goals scored !
             If BFC lose and stay on 4 points, they can qualify if SCdeGoa draw with RUFC , as long as they don't lose by more than 1 goal.

    Why surprised, it's shitty , shoddy journalism, the kind you would expect from Novy "please retire" Kopadia.
    The change of format is cause AIFF is broke... Rob Baan ( Shaaji Prabhakaran) had proposed a proper home & away where clubs foot the bill for travel, but clubs/AIFF backtracked, and we are back to this shitty format.

    Kerela FA were made promises in last election , hence Santosh troy last year , India match vs. Palestine , Federation Cup, and maybe more Santosh trophy too.
