Ashfaq is good for any league..but he's scared of stepping out of his comfort zone unlike Chhetri..even South China wanted him earlier but he never joined
Guys, i think we are getting panicky.

I think he is the third or maybe 4th best player to have played in Saff cup.(Bhutia,Chhetri and perhaps IM Vijayan).

There is no doubt that he is perhaps in the best form of his life and running riot but this is not the first time he is playing in Saff.

India has won many time while he played for Maldives and many times he has looked quite ordinary in comparison to Chhetri and Bhutia.

I mean, does any one remember ARAVINDA D'Silva (Sri Lankan cricketer)there was this one tournament where he palyed 7or 8 innings and remained not out in all of them.Nobody,in 8 odd matches was able to dismiss him but did that make him the best player?

No,because consistency you are and as one of my friends said that he never came out of his comfort zone says a lot.

Ali Ashfaq in the recent times has been the 2nd second best player to Chhetri in Saff Region.
amiri has been showing alot of talent lately too... but like you said he needs to be consistent, if he plays like he is now and stays consistent then i think in a few years he'll be known as one of the top 5 saff players
