This is just silly... should have played one set of team and not 2... how r they suppose to take the kids seriously.. comes back to the point of such useless warm up games where ppl will take note of result and not the nature..

I too dont agree with the concept. Why not any Nepali club . Playing against under 19 and than 16 is just shame and not convincing one.

<br><div><br></div><div>Syed Nabi can do it. However, it will mean having Mohanraj Nalappan playing LB. However, if you would like to keep Syed at LB then you can play Arata on the wing, Lenny Rodrigues can do the switch, and Alwyn George even (he is fast can can provide an okay cross from the wing.</div><div><br></div><div>So we do have options here.</div>

Anyway, I know it is late but this squad for India is a bit surprising... even by Wim's standards. Nallapan Mohanraj is our only listed left-back in the squad and he barely played last season. Nirmal is our only "real" right-back as well.<div><br></div><div>At least the center of defense is good for once. Arnab Mondal and Sandesh Jhingan have been long over due this chance and honestly I would like to see how Gouramangi and Raju react to being dropped (if that is what Wim does).</div><div><br></div><div>The midfield is fine to me. Of course I would have loved to have seen CK Vineeth, Lalkamal Bhowmick, Lalrindika Ralte, Sanju Pradhan etc in the line-up but this is okay as well (specially when Vineeth and Bhowmick are only beginning there training today!). I do wonder how Jewel Raja made it into the squad though because he did not look anywhere near national team material last season.</div><div><br></div><div>Front line is the best we can do. Sunil Chhetri is our only real striker while everyone else is... well.... shite. Keepers... same thing.</div><div><br></div><div>Overall. On paper we should win the SAFF Cup. Based on facts outside the India NT, the practice matches, and interviews, I expect a championship but not an easy one.</div>
