They know who they are preetam, nothing else needs to be said on that as honestly, while I disagree with it, some others may feel indifferent and I rather there not be a war/argument over who should do it and who should not.
But seriously, anyone to replace the oldies like Yusif, Odafa etc. Sure, they may not be as effective on paper but they will improve Indian football in how they play instead of the usual African who just bulldozes past a player (boring!!!!).
It was funny and at the same time enraging to see Okolie today. The one who usually likes to force his way into the penalty area to take goal attempts seemed to be in hurry, taking shots from everywhere. The desperation to score a few goals in the fag end of the season to increase his price was way to obvious. And when he could not, he doesn't hide his frustration
And this is what makes that list of players who have scored more than 100 goals in the NFL/I-League more hilarious. Guys like Edeh Chidi, Ranti Martins, Odafa Okolie, and Yakubu... their time in the sun is coming to an end soon.
John Johnson is only a League Two quality defender and he apparently made Odafa look like shite today... imagine what will happen as I-League clubs start to sign better players from better leagues. This will force teams to counter with better foreigners and gradually the league as a whole should get better.
That is my theory at least and hopefully Bengaluru FC can be the start.
Odafa tried his balls off today...his agent Chima Okorie called BFC all week asking for a chance to join them for next season. Osano must've taken ot literally ...and he put him in his back pocket all game
