There should be severe punishment if Club fails to pay salary to players. There are so many loopholes- Free Agents, Middleman, Libero type agencies, club officials taking cut.
Agree 100% but sadly the reality is that the AIFF does not give a flying fock and they are probably part of all this (along with their other corrupt stuff). A proper organization would never allow Mumbai FC or United into the league. Both clubs would have been banned from the league by now or at least deducted 20 points as a "warning".
Here I am on wikipedia trying to protect I-League on the "notable players list" by saying that the league is fully-pro yet we have these teams that just prove the opposite... and they are catching on on wikipedia. If I-League is taken off the league then I nor anyone else can create player pages for I-League players unless they are senior internationals. Thats years of hard work gone... just like that.
is there a way we could suggest which players can be signed for i-league to be known by i-league clubs...here IFN member can do better than scouting team of i-league....
I had a few NASL guys in mind but they have all moved on to other NASL clubs. Gaffer did mentioned that he may enquire about Chris Nurse but he just signed with the Fort Lauderdale Strikers.
