u mean he will leave for Egypt? That would be sad. some of the good players in recent times have all left. Hernandez (even without fitness he was good, would have been even better with better fitness levels), Bilal Najjarin (one of my fav foreigners in recent times), Shabana just played 1 game but I think he can be good, looked fit and had all ingredients to be a great inclusion in I League.
on the other hand I thought Naser (the defender) is an ordinary player, again 1 game only
Dont think Balwant is very good though..didnt like his performance toay...
Shabana has the potential of being the new Beto...love some of these unknown players brought by Churchill, I hope he stays
Not really unknown. Regular in Egypt and Egypt is not bad at all. He is definetly gone though... surely after the season at least. He is to good for I-League.
Watched MB vs MDSP game today on Ten Action. Penn Orji isn't the same which he used to be at EB. Seemed like an 40 yr old trying to somehow play the game and it would be better if we find some new foreigners with good experience worldwide. We are lacking too much behind in skills,fitness and co-ordination. Until and unless there are more and more academies at junior level,there isn't much hope for Football in India.
There is massive fraud in Nigerian players age. I remember reading some interview of Chidi Edeh in 2005 when he was at Sporting Clube de Goa. That time he was talking about his wife. then after 8 years he is still 26!!!!!
