Let me clear some myths about the BFC-Lajong game as it was not telecasted.

    1) Sunil Chettri didn't played as striker iin absence of Sean Roooney, it was Robin Singh. Sunil played  in left wing, the same position given to Jeje in Indian team by Wim Koevermans during SAFF.

    2) Sunil was very good in 1st half, but lost steam in 2nd half, getting difficult to last full 90 mins, later he took strikers position when Robin left, but nothing much was happening then as Lajong were pressing hard.

    3) Honestly speaking, the refeering looks a bit more harsh for the away sides, the penalty could have been easily avoided.

    4) Robin Singh sucked big time. Fans were having a good time booing him.

    5) Lajong enjoyed a very good support. Fan atmosphere was amazing, chants from both sides. Merchandise available and sells very well. All  the 'medium' sized BFC jersey, worth Rs. 600, were sold out.

    6) Curtis Osano is ordinary, John Johnson is amazing in air, ok in ground, good covering.

    7) BFC looks very fit, and has a great coordination, pre season seems to have been great.

    8) Glen Cornell has skills but useless for most parts, slow, he wasted so many opportunities.

    9) A huge portion of the fan support actually comes from people from other states. So, a lot of home  fans are also Lajong, EB, MB, Pune, Goa club fans. This creates an unique atmosphere.

    10) A lot of Lajong supporters were actually booing Sunil with some words which to be sounded like Nepali words, and a bit racial to be honest.

All the 3 goals in BFC/SLFC games were fantastic. Loved the crowd when they cheered for Haokip goal too. Brilliant production from BFC
well because were Lajong fans :)
Also the fact is a huge chunk of BFC fans are people from North Eastern states, so many who wearing BFC jerseys also wanted Lajong to play well
