even though we are not at afc level but i-league club performance wise are gud...afc criteria will only improve the level of I-league ..yeah only slightly but something is better than nothing...
@samiam for that you should be saying I want all Indian clubs to get the licensing criteria rather than i only want licensed clubs to play, when only couple have clubs have done so.
i dont understand what you meant by we are not at afc cup level ,we seem to be playing holding ourselves nicely against higher ranked clubs of countries
I honestly dont think that the performances this season in the AFC Cup are any representations of the I-League quality. Churchill Brothers are doing okay considering that they are in a pretty bad position in the I-League and that they keep having these internal squad issues. Pune FC meanwhile is still a young side that is more built towards the future (at least from what we are told). This is good experience for the club as it will help them set up a target for which they should want to reach.
We have at least 1 team qualifying to knowckout every season of AFC cup if i am correct which is enough reason that we are of AFC cup quality... as far as winning the title goes that is pretty difficult with middle east teams who lose out in play-offs for ACL are always a prime favourite to win them
