Churchill Brothers are without several first team regulars like Balwant Singh, Abdelhamid Shabana, Raju Yumnam, Asley Fernandes and Jaison Vales while Daniel Zeleny also hasn’t made the trip. They are either injured or rested for the crucial I-League game against Salgaocar.
They barely get fans on weekends, do you expect something during the week?
But ya, attendance is still a worrisome thing. @gaffertape Have Pune realized this, esspecially with Bengaluru FC now around, and will they try to take it up a notch?
I don't think Pune FC can kick on to the next level , they can copy some of BFC initiatives like Match Day programs etc ( Pune FC sell there's for Rs20, unlike the free BFC one )
Pune doesn't have the footballing culture like Banglore and the stadium location doesn't help either.
I've been saying for years that if you scratch the surface , you will see that PFC isn't really that professional , it's just that they sugar coat things well, and the rest of the clubs were crap.
BFC have done a great job with fans , and playing AFC in a bigger floodlit stadium in Bangalore will help them next season. BFC have a long way to go in terms of youth development and just like PFC suffer due to PDFA, i think the KSFA will also be a hindrance in that regard
