If 1 team gets relegated and 1 team is promoted, then total number of teams will remain at 13. Then assuming that United SC gets closed, then total number of teams will be 12. Common sense says that 2 should relegate, 2 promoted and give 1 corporate slot in place of united SC. But then it doesnt seem to be this way. Which player is mentally retarded enough to again sign up for IMG-R for next season and assume that Ms Ambani will start a team for corporate slot. I am yet to see those mythical pitch experts who were supposed to renovate the playing pitch of JLN nehru stadium-Delhi, Salt Lake Stadium, Fatorda Stadium and D Y Patil Stadium Navi Mumbai.
Mysthical pitch experts arrive next week feom FIFA to check on feasibility of Pune as a World Cup venue..then head to Bangalore. They are also due to inspect 2 to 4 practice venues in those cities.
As for players signing for IMG-R team...some are already contracted and as the total number of teams in I-league & 2nd Div has drastically been cut down...player's will have little option but to sign for them
I must say the group are very uneven. Group A is way easier than Group B. Except RWFC the rest of the teams are very ordinary. Could someone explian the basis on which the groups were decided. Is it on lottery basis?

No surprise with the performance of MP United. Their squad really lack experience. Dunno what they were thinking while making the squad.
