Congratulations to all our members on reaching 1000 posts!
We will be discussing and all the landmarks that are reached by this Network. We still have a long way to go. Even Irish Football Network has got 78,000+ members. We should actively grow our strength!

u guys need to pubicize on facebook and all other sources
However the main prob is , people just don't want to go into registration and all that...in facebook, they can just click like and then comment if necessary....many people visit here but don't register...still I will say its good to have active people than having a community where you have thousands of people and only 10 people update....yesh, I lot of active users in orkut/facebook have not yet joined here...lets see when will they...I believe, with time once people see this as a stable community, they will come...I think the if you continue to publish player interviews or other exclusive news as you did in Pratik's case, people will come more and more <!-- s;) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_wink.gif" alt=";)" title="Wink" /><!-- s;) -->
well they are right... its your group too
Good to see more and more people pouring in
Thanks for bringing this up. Let us make certain things clear -
1) We are not related to AIFF. However, as fans, mails can be sent to them. In fact, in future we do want to write articles based on fans discussions. We can also send petitions to AIFF. Those things are possible. However, for that we need a good fan base. we are advertising in Twitter, facebook, orkut, however we are really hoping for you guys to bring in more people.
The real fun of having a forum as opposed to orkut or facebook would be realised later when you can easily fish out old information from different section of the forum.
2) Indian Football Network is maintained by few people from different parts of India, who have formed Indian Sports Network. We have the following aims for this forum -
- To gather football fans from different websites into a single platform where they can discuss and get updated on Indian football, and also world football if they want so.
- To provide blog space to anyone who wants to write about Indian football matters. The promotion of articles will be done by us in appropriate communities.
- To keep database of atleast the I league stats.
- To gather information about players, put it here as a database, from where you guys can update in other places.
There are many more things we need to improve, but we are trying to correct us with every experience. Some of you fans have been phenomenal in helping us built this forum. Thanks for that.
With your support and blessings, we can surely succeed.
