Good transition. I like it. These are actually professional players not like any other random african who comes to study and ends up getting a contract or any other sub standard player who thinks lets go to india. Wanna play PROFESSIONAL. :D
I think we are forgetting what the definition for a random player should be. None of these English players are random... they all have experience in the top 4 tiers of English football at least... the Africans that are considered random are guys who just come out of nowhere... we know nothing about them.
My favorite example is Amos Omeje... who the fuck is he!?
We are also forgetting that Random English players criticise India on twitter, make fun of poverty, cows, dogs, roads and then leave the season in between. Random Brazilian, Random African players hang on to their club and end up best scorer in the I-League or National football League. :P
James Keene did it once and now every Englishman does it (and Rohan Ricketts). John Johnson from what I can see has adapted to life in India perfectly! Same with Curtis Osano who has lived his life in England. Kris Bright seems settled as well as many other Aussies who come to India like Sean Rooney.
Meanwhile you have a guy like Cristian Lagos who makes fun of India.
The problem is with western media.... they think slumdog millionaire is the real india though it is 50% true... that is the reason these players also think that such is the answer which will get them published in it...
I have never seen cow roaming around in main road on my daily day ... once in a while may be it happened
