So looks like Salgaocar signed Abhijit Das based upon his performance against them ! This seeems like a typical East Bengal or Mohun Bagan type signing policy !
I doubt Derrick bothered to watch any other matches of Abhijit Das or othwr available goalkeepers. Given that goalies like Vinay Singh, TP Rehensh, Bruno Colaco , Subhashish Roy Chowdary + a few good juniors from TFA & India U19 etc were all in the market...seems a very odd choice to opt for Abhijit Das.
