Both teams will have had a lot of travelling prior to Saturday’s game and fitness, recuperation and the changes in weather will all play a part, as noted by Wahingdoh coach Santosh Kashyap after the Bharat FC game.
“We came here [Pune] after a 16-hour bus journey from Goa and that was horrible. We are only recovering after that. Now we shall leave at 3 am and reach only in the evening at around 8 pm. Then in two days, we will play a top team Bengaluru FC. So it’s a big challenge for us,” he was quoted as saying.
I wonder how they are planning for travel arrangements. They cannot take flights or train atleast to Mumbai from Goa. Why 16 hour Bus journey???
