There has to be some part that has to be given by the club. Then in your case, why didn't we have games under lights last season when we could have easily had them. It was only Pune FC,Shillong Lajong who had most of the games under lights. Others used to play at 4PM.
8000 spectators with 50 rupees ticket clearly gives 4 lakh rupees. That is more then enough for renting Sree Kanthareeva stadium with floodlights. AIFF gives money for floodlights and I am sure that Ten Action will broadcast most of the BFC games. so this idea of non-sustainable is actually misleading tactics by BFC so that they can squeeze this year I-League games also in that broken Bangalore Football stadium and use Sree Kanthareeva Stadium only for AFC Cup games.
@goalkeeper...the lights required for broadcast are of much higher . Somewhere in the region of 1500lux at the cenyre of the pitch. PUNE FC spends over a lak with the cost of diesel and the hiring of generators etc. At Kanteerava that would require replacing the old broken lights
The other interesting thing to note is that the ISL guys are applying for a liquor license, so that the European model of having beer at the ground can be copied in the pub capital of India
but I still can't believe that lakhs are needed just for diesel and just for 2 hours and I hope ISL people will not use pub modal in goa or there may be attacks from muthlic and davlakar :P
