Figured but they haven't posted updates about it strangely. Unrelated but what happens to the match against Persipura Jaypura on the 10th since a bunch of the BFC players have been drafted for the national camp and qualifier on the 12th? They'll be left with a much depleted squad for the crucial game..
Unfortunately that is how the AFC have scheduled things. Clubs have no choice to release players for these international matches.
Either way, who are Bengaluru FC missing? Rino Anto, Keegan Pereira, Eugenson Lyngdoh, Sunil Chhetri, and Robin Singh. Good news is that their foreign players will still be there and you also have CK Vineeth, Beingaichho, and Hanghal to help ease the loss of the national team guys.
East Bengal on the other hand will miss Raju Gaikwad, Arnab Mondal, Mehtab Hossain, Lalrindika Ralte, and Cavin Lobo.
I think both of them can manage - visal can replace Rino in RB, Darren calderia can replace in CM, Roony & Vineeth as forwards. So there is not much problem to BFC. For EB there is plenty of choice for Mehtab & Dika
Bengaluru FC should look for Hockey Franchise in HIL. In the ill-fated WSH, Bangalore Franchise did well and they got so many Karnataka/Coorg players there-so there will be strong local flavour also. They have a good Hockey Stadium also with Floodlights. In past, Big 3 clubs of Calcutta used to have very active Hockey and Cricket teams also. More and more trouble for Business Groups like Sahara, Mallya means more existing Sports franchises will be for sale.
