@Cybertron What is your definition of humiliation again? India was 2nd in 2010 commonwealth games and 4th in 2006 Commonwealth games in overall Medal Tally.
Well most of talented players from India are getting injured or unable to play in these games as reported by you. We came 2nd in 2010 Commonwealth Games because most of those good foreign athletes from other Commonwealth nations didn't participate in the tournament.
And do you think 6th is a good thing in Commonwealth Games? The whole India would have been happy if we came 6th in Olympic games.
Can you read again??? I wrote that India was 2nd in 2010 and 4th in 2006. Where did I say that India came 6th?? You say good foreign athletes didnt come. Can you make a list of them and what difference it would have made to the medal tally? India is also missing players like Saina Nehwal this time.
This time I would be happy if India gets around 20 gold medals and finish 4th in the overall, anything more than 20, I would be very happy. We are missing some big names this time.
Instead of this British-era colonial games the athletes should compete and win more medals in the Asian Games against good teams in Asia such as Japan, Iran, South Korea, China etc.
People in India want our athletes to perform well in Olympics.
