we used to have that here, but I think it was changed because uploading files takes away IFN's server space and then the website becomes slightly slower..
@archak ; and @rudra are right. IFN is funded by our pocket money and a bit of ad revenue. We cannot really afford to be extravagant. In future we may be able to have enough resources to let you upload files.

@Domnic this is done to lower the cost of maintaining this forum... since webspace is quite costly
