Depends. I have watched their matches in the league and Sayouba has not been at fault for the goals they give away and so far his cup matches have been against lower division sides.
To his credit, he has now become number 1 in India for National Team. Earlier he was third choice behind Subrata Paul and Karanjit Singh. He ddint handle Calcutta presure well. He has blossomed well in his Foreign journey. Let him stay there as much as he wish. His club always release him comfortably for NT duties. Money must be good. All this Foreign training and experience has built him as a good solid GK.
The major thing is Gurpreet has age on his side (24 yrs) and still have some years to reach his peak!! He can improve further and hopefully can reach levels which we Indian fans can be proud off.
After playing a season at Al-Nasr, Ali Al-Habsi signed to Lyn Oslo and played three seasons for the Norwegian club. Following his signing with the club, he became the first Omani to play international football in Europe. He was also voted "Norwegian Goalkeeper of the Year" in 2004.
Later he was transferred to Bolton Wanderers (then 1st division EPL club) in 2006.
Just looked up stats for Chhetri, Varun Mehta, and Adit Rastogi (who have all got game time in Europe) and none of them have. Not even our main man, the best player India has ever produced, Anupam Sarkar played the full 90... but he did play the most amount of minutes in the 2nd Division of Georgia (96 minutes)

I will take my dislike now.
