A news from Burnley....who have made their highest ever investment...in their training facility (higher than on any player).....that is the right approach IMO but I am just a fan...
Some pics of the new facility of Burnley......it is definietly doable in India maybe not in the city centre maidan, which can remain the official HQ of club
@deepakc Burnley FC got more then 100 million Pounds last year for playing in Premier League. So they spent 10% of that on their training Center. Around the world, clubs build assetts, properties as well as earn thru players.I-League should earn and share revenue with clubs.
Wrong question @munna219777 the question to be asked is how much is the annual budget of MB....Pretty sure the salaries and other 1st team expenses are somewhere around 10Cr per year. If You don't want to take PL eg (I had taken Burnley who jsut got promoted and will barely survive this year also, so future revenues are uncertain), see the training facilities of top african clubs, surely we should match them as we mock Africans so easily...(especially the circus lovers)
I think AIFF had a rule set in 2014/ 15 which was to keep aside 25% of a club's earning to invest in infra (academy, training, stadium, and the works). what happened to that.
I don't think logo needs change its well established and connect the culture...( Just look what Manchester city did to their logo ).... In my opinion what they should do is move the club members who are officials to director board of the team and bring in professionals to run the club...!!
@deepakc UNCERTAINTY is the word. In the case of Burnley FC, even if they get relegated- there will not be any shortage of funds. Premier League guarantees atleast 2 or 3 years of Parachute payments worth millions of pounds even after relegation.
On the other hand, in case of I-league, uncertainity has crept in all the Indian clubs. Forget parachute payments after relegation, there are two leagues and nobody knows about the future of I-league or their club. Even if they want, they cannot invest in this dodgy climate or attract any stable sponsor. As long as two league mess continues, uncertainty will be there.
I always look at Revenue, not Budget. Paisa milega tabhi to spend hoga.
