If this is true, I think a grave danger is awaiting MB. This is not from Jio (who can easily be seen as the usurpers, sneaking in and taking up the ownership), but from the club management itself. It seems the club is becoming a personal club of Tutu-Anjan duo. This alters the basic nature of the club. I hope the club publishes the ownership details along with the approval of the Governing Body in its website.
Just hope the club retains its current character, or else we will not be able to differentiate it from ATK, or worse, Tollygunge Agragami.
"It seems" because if the duo own the 'fully owned subsidiary' as e-officio, then there would be some relief and things may get regularized. But we don't know. That is why the documents MUST be made public.
Also, to build confidence of the members, the 'owners', or rather we should say "the owners' representatives" should be people other than Tutu-Anjan, and they should be rotated among the members of the governing body.
Tomorrow's Mohun Bagan v TA match will be shown on Giant Screen outside Mohun Bagan ground to enable fans who are not able to get an entry to enjoy the match. This is a fantastic initiative by Mohun Bagan management.
