Both Bagan & EB is not keen to play ISL this year, which is perfectly right.
With the fortune of ISL dwindling every year, FSDL/AIFF would have no other option but to broadly accept the road map chalked by the ILeague teams and while it may not merge the league next year, but would incorporate Bagan-EB with a nominal franchise fee.
With regards to Gulf oil, its more of pani than tel i guess!
Gulf Oil (American) is closed down but amongst its remnants in foreign countries, Gulf Oil Lubricants India Ltd. exists which is owned by Hinduja Group.
They are an enthusiastic invester in Indian Sports with being associated with Dhoni, Yuvraj and IPL Teams. They also have various Bike / Car Rallies sponsorship in their portfolio.
In all probability, Mohun Bagan is going to announce the name of their foreign coach tomorrow and whatever we are getting info, it is the best ever profile any Mohun Bagan coach ever had !
See the expectations have all gone wrong. MB doesn't need a 20 crore/year deal sponsor, they need a company who would pay 5-6 crores and then they have Mr. Bose. Unlike EB and other clubs, MB doesn't spend a penny for their youth academy.
