Chants, Horns, drums are all part of making Football a visual spectacle on television and for visitors in the stadium.
chants - ok drums - ok horns - not ok
we have seen how irritating it was when watching 2010 WC. similarlry horns are not coming under organized manner, so it feels disturbance to hear. also many older people come to watch football here. why i support drums because it is part of kerala culture and it feels music. horns are nonsense and nuisance.
ISL club Kerala Blasters currently seem to be at war with the Kochi Corporation. While the 'non-payment of tax' is the bone of contention, there is more than what meets the eye.
that's why owning the stadium is important in Indian football.
Actually Entertainment Tax is levied even if the stadium is owned by the club and they sell tickets to common public.
Only exceptions are when they do it for charitable purposes (some IPL teams used that loophole cunningly) or if the stadiu operator has long term leases from muniipal authorities for performances
Ivan needs a punishment. It does not matter what fans feel. The game spirit we all enjoy should be kept. It does not matter if you win or lose. Giving up is never an option. He deserves a hefty fine IMO
i agree with it is against the spirit of the game and all that. But some one had to make the sacrifice to be heard of the poor refereeing decisions over the years in Indian football.
One good thing about this walk out is. AIFF and FSDL are serious about using VAR or VAR Lite atleast in the next season. Also hearing that the next broadcaster viacom10 also wants that to enhance their production. Should thank Ivan for the walk out lol. Seems to work!
