Wasn't Kondwani and Chansa on loan to NEUFC from Lajong ?? This is clear sign that stakeholders within the knowhow of AIFF are pulling back. If you watched Dempo interview on prudent media, it was quite evident that the I league has no future after 2-3 years.
Due to the unavailability of the live feed from the venue, we are unable to broadcast the Federation Cup on the 28th and 29th of December. We regret the inconvenience caused. We will broadcast the live games starting 30th December.
Churchill Brothers Sports Club has rubbished media reports that it will be holding back the Federation Cup Trophy, which it had won last year.
The club is not invited to play Fed Cup this year after All India Football Federation (AIFF) did not give it the licence due to some procedural lapses.
Churchill Bros' Chief Executive Officer Valanka Alemao said the club should have got a direct entry into the tournament, which will be played from December 28.
Valanka said the club do not intend to hold back the Cup as a mark of protest, as reported by some media.
"We will not hold back something that is not ours. We are handing over the trophy to Goa Football Association tomorrow," she told a press conference.
"But we would like to mention that we are hurt with the attitude of AIFF which has not given us a chance to play," she added.
AIFF General Secretary Kushal Das, in a letter to Churchill Bros, had asked the trophy be handed over to Tony Cabral, AIFF coordinator, who is currently in Goa.
Valanka said that the club has completed all the formalities required for licencing with the AIFF.
"As far as we are concerned we have given all the documents. I don't know why AIFF has still not consideredus for playing," she said.
Churchill Bros has already filed a case in the High Court, challenging the AIFF's action of not allowing them to play in U-19 I-league tournament.

Do you think Derrick might prefer to start with Jairu & Gilbert as his wingers..
use Duffy & Douhou up front instead of Dawson ?
