@Nagendra It would be a fallacy to say that Pune doesn't attract people even for IPL matches. Pune, like most of Maharashtra, is a cricket-crazy city. The MCA Stadium must be as close to Pune as it is to Navi Mumbai and still the stadium remained packed for every match for as long as the Pune Warriors still existed, even though as most people know, their on-field performances were exceptionally poor. The MCA Stadium was in fact the highest-earning venue from ticket sales out of all stadia in the IPL when they hosted the home matches of Kings XI Punjab, mostly because of their zero tolerance policy on handing out free tickets to VIPs.
I agree that Pune hasn't attracted many fans for football, but that doesn't necessarily carry over to cricket.
East Bengal vs Southern Samity was 2-1 win for EB. That was last match of the league and EB had already won the league. Also EB played without Robert Khabra Soumik Mehtab Lobo Dika Arnab. Well done KBFC
