You won't have the last laugh. The only franchise team ever to successfully get this done are the Green Bay Packers of the NFL but they were grandfathered with that system into the NFL, no way will a new entity start with such ownership.
Ans yes it isnt easy to keep the surrporters trust on same page... one might say sign all kerala players and give them opportunity and other set say we need results to attract fans local players might wait... and boom the trust losing stability and resulting in the franchise closing down
