@Admin @namewtheld , I think you guys should rather delete my comment above with expletives. Its not needed anymore IMO. @Ashlesh , is gone for good. Its not needed anymore.
ok , so I too was inadvertently "banned" for the past fortnight , due to some technical issues , Thanks to @namewtheld for restoring my account.
Whilst I have been joking with friends how the ISL was fixed , my "inside information" wasn't alleging the match was fixed.
@Ashlesh , the only thing we could probably say for certainty is that the ISL organisers wanted the final in Goa to be a showcase of their league , which is why GOA was chosen as a venue , and WHY they really really wanted FC Goa to make it to the finals.
As for the final being FIXED... even if you try to believe the bullshit about the ref awarding 2 penalties , for stonewall PK's , why did Kattimani save them then >? Was Kattimani also asked to parry the 1st one into the path of the striker ?? Was Pranoy Halder 'fixed' to trip Mendoza and then knock his keeper out of the way for the equaliser.
The only 'bad' things the referee did , was ...probably not giving Mehraj Wadoo 2 yellow cards , but then again Gregory Arnold deserved a RED for man handling the ref.
BIG games ( like the derby or the last game of I-League ) will always lead to such events , especially if refs aren't brave enough to take charge.
Kolkata Derby saw Lalkamal Bhowmick lose his head, and ISL has seen FC Goa players and fans alike do the same.
there is a lot more interesting news from the SAFF Camp , so I will save my words for that...
Apart from the Kolkatta derby, these ISL matches must be first matches in Indian football history to witness a brawl. As long as these brawls don't escalate into law and order situations and police cases, I'd like more fights.
Brawls do help in promoting club rivalry and thereby devotion to your club. Now, FC Goa fans will be hating Chennaiyin FC to the core and maybe vice versa as well.
Have been off for quite some time now due to work. I just went through all the last 100 comments.
Ashlesh being banned is accepted. Some of the things said were stupid and naive. Good decision. But why is Mr. Coolgagan still hanging around. If India is a free democracy and we believe in transparency, than "@Coolgagan" has to go too. There are no two ways about this.
@Coolgagan eventually apologized and does not have much of a history antagonizing other users. What he did is not right but is more deserving of a warning.
Yeah. I didn't read his comment in entirety on the first instance. That totally deserves a ban. @coolgagan is being banned for only a week due to abusive language but under provocation and this being his first offence.
