Those kind of stats make it in record books,cant change ever
I dont mind the foreign slot being used on a goalkeeper. Perhaps, with time, Tae Yoon will get better. We are only two games into the season and I can give many examples of goalkeepers who start off bad but evolve into good keepers. (One being Vito Mannone at Arsenal).
From the looks of it as well, East Bengal were dominating. Tae may have not made any saves (I dont know that yet) but its obvious that he stood his ground and remained big through the whole match and also it is clear that he has control of the back-line. Dont count him out yet. I have only seen highlights of him but he does look like a good keeper who will get better with expirence. He is only 19.
but what is the point of having an untested average foreign goalie? waste of one slot...Indian goalies are good to average. They could have taken an Indian goalie and get a foreign defender or striker...

Well you and I both know that United Sikkim dont have much in funds and according to KshitijUSFC Tae was brought in because of his father. Also what good keepers are in the market at the moment. Go through all the good Indian keepers and how many of them would have moved to United Sikkim this summer. None. The current Indian keeper there, Monotosh Ghosh, has been average his whole career as well (A good back-up from what I read) and honestly they saw the chance and De Ridder took it.
I do agree about the foreign keeper thing but it was there decision and I am sure they know what they are doing.
@Kshitij USFC : USFC used all three subs but only at the fag end of the match...TAE repalced by Monotosh ; Sahensha - Shabbir Ali ; and Koku came in but can't remember the player he replaced. Tae made a few saves alright , but the main problem was his positioning and the goal scored by RALTE was nothing special ball went into the net right in the center , even though it came of someone's head but a ball straight at the keeper should be saved.

I totally agree. Even if this guy was good I would have said its a waste of foreigner slot.
