I am not sure if @Gaffertape will agree with me but I think BFC don't have a choice here. Fact is that they have to sell to foreign players to come to India from January to May next year for wages that are not so big in a league that is not even lucrative at all... its not an easy sell at all!
BFC will end up winning I-League this year also. They dont seem to have very high ambitions in AFC Cup or ACL qualifiers either. So why to disturb winning combination? Chalne do jaisa chal rahaa hai !!!!
@ArsenalFan700 , have to agree to a certain extent. ... BUT given a lot of the Asian Leagues finish in November / December...it is easy to pick up someone to come for I-League that starts on January 17th 2016...as you are offering a 6 month contract...you could do 1 of 2 things. .
Splash the cash in an expensive J-League , K-League veteran or A-League oldie...
Signing such types. .gives you immediate resale / loan value in ISL or other Leagues.
I-League is an easy sell IF you can offer proper facilities. ..regular pay...and a stable plan to incoming players.
I-League pays much better than a lot of European leagues...and it can be a launch pad to good asian leagues via AFC if clubs marketed it properly. ..as only 2 get to play AFC...but no harm in others taking part in ore-season friendlies in Asia or an IFA shield equivalent on Indonesia etc.
Anyways i digress....but sime good Argentinians might be headed here soon too.
That is true and I did not even think about the fact that a lot of leagues end in November/December. Get a good 6 month contract and then move on at the end of the season.

BFC almost brought in Yaser Kasim, as Pradhyum Reddy knew him from his contacts at Spurs
