Multiple years' deal is the right move actually, which EB have been implementing successfully over the years. For that one has to zero in on the right talent, which they haave been by and large so far. But I think, as few clubs are trying to get professional within their budget, players are becoming more unprofessional these days and looking for short term gains only and not seeking continuity - so much so that these days u won't see not very many talented Indian players can sustain their performance beyond 1/2 year max. Greed is the trigger and that is affecting their performance/sustainibility big time.
