This uneven groups look so odd to me. Why don't they invite a nearby team and put it in group b?

Just look at this new Paki team full of players of pakistani origin. Hope we have atleast another decent compititive team in SAFF now.

They should have made it into round Rabin league with top 4 plays semis like isl, that would have insured more matches for staff teams.

Yeah. I too wish so. With 7 teams 1 leg round robin tournament is good. Else invite a team like Burma or Malaysia.

Had India been at least allotted to the 4 team group, we would have got some more match experiences.

India should be in Asean. Time to leave SAFF.

Instead of only Bangabandhu Stadium, they should have lined up at least another stadium, because in September the ground conditions in Bangladesh will not be the ideal to stage matches in consecutive days. Ideally group matches in two different venues with semi-finals onwards in BB Stadium.

By hosting the Cup in single stadium, SAFF indicates that even they are also not serious about this tournament, and just want a namesake tournament ...
