to challenge AFC, we cant do without upgrading 2 foreign recruits. I'm fine with Indian lads. We are short in quality to fight or do commendable job in AFC.
Yes, I know he is injured. But I do not understand the relevance of him being mentioned in BFC pages? I had wondered if he had signed for BFC, but seemingly not, and "gaffertape" probably alluded to him as an example.
He was really good a couple years ago. Broke out really with Arthur Papas's India U23 side during the 2013 AFC U22 qualifiers along with guys like Romeo Fernandes. People tipped Alwyn to be even better than Romeo Fernandes at the time. His first full-season at Pailan Arrows, also under Papas, was average. He failed to live to the hype, at least IMO, but he was good. He was then snapped up by Dempo, following Papas to the Goan club, and it was there that we started to see a decline in the promising lad. He just lost it there and I heard reasons from attitude to just never improving as reasons.
Bengaluru FC agree to Rs 15 lakh transfer fee for Pronay
India's most professional club has agreed to pay Dempo Sports Club a transfer fee of Rs 15 lakh for the release of midfielder Pronay Halder.
The India midfielder was on a two-year contract with Dempo worth Rs 90 lakh but with the former I-League champions now relegated to the second division, the player has been given the licence to play elsewhere, provided the club pays a transfer fee.
"Bengaluru FC officials had talks with Dempo officials and agreed to a deal. Everything has been done professionally. Pronay will join Bengaluru FC after the ISL," said a source.
Pronay will do duty for FC Goa in the Indian Super League and then sign a long-term contract at Bengaluru FC.
The squad looks awesome. However, the LB (need to go for more strong player), GK and number 9 position looks (with Robin) bit vulnerable compared to other areas. BFC is really looking for I-league title next season alongwith good mark in AFC cup.
