Cool. Lets see if he makes it and if he actually gets some meaningful time... from the Khyrgiz League to the Dutch 2nd tier.

Meanwhile, his former teammate, Kalleem Mullah is still well adjusting with Sacramento Republic in the American 3rd Division.

The problem is....an aspiring Pakistani or Maldivian player who is half decent...will opt to move away from his country for a better league...

An Indian player will never move to Kyrgiz or Uzbek or even Malaysian league..let alone USL because they get paid more than MLS salaries for playing in I-League !! :-/

The top 100 players won't and maybe shouldn't move but the next 100 players should be encouraged en masse to do so, we don't have a big enough pool of clubs domestically to absorb them. this is where #AIFF can step in and encourage the players.

Players are adults and should take their own career decisions. Again, why the hell AIFF or IFA or GFA tell, that too, worthless third rate (not the top 100/as you said) players which other foreign leagues and their audiences they may please to terrorise and help depopularize football.

At this point Gaffer is right. Sandesh Jhingan would not make it in MLS yet is earning more than some of the better defenders in the league.

I hope Kean lewis starts a new trend and succeed it...

If he shows other players that his 2-3 year stint at north America made him a better player it might tempt others too to play there and improve their skill... then they can earn huge bucks in I-league/ISL

Kean Lewis has definitely improved from the little Mumbai kid that showed up at TFA all those years back...

Hopefully Soham Kathuria will be the next one..
