Good result for dinthar. Dinthar veng, a block in aizawl city got barely a population of 1k which pretty much sums up their fan base. FB likes is not an indication of actual fan base.
Missing that member @Mizo who gives us valuable insights.

There is apparently another league called Haeir Aizwal district league..anyone has an idea how it is different from MPL....Aizawal FC is playing both so I'm a little confused....

MPL is the main state league, this league is a district league under it with teams not even in the MPL.

The article basically talks about the formation of a first division with teams basically from Aizawl itself.

The confusion in my mind was that I thought MPL was also purely Aizawal only event.....so why the adfa....although I'm not complaining as the kids are playing regular football in a constructive environment. Aizawal FC , it seems, also maintains a ladies outfit, which I guess is a first for indian domestic club....

Aizawal doing decently under the Spanish coach....would have liked to see them play in 1of the pre season tournaments at least..
