In all fairness this is the level that matters to us in Indian football context. Considering the caliber of our senoir team and the subsequent intermediate age group we need these bunch of lads to put a decent result for the '17 tournament so that it tickles down a snowballing effect down the lane.
Agree but it is still technically 2015. We have more than a year and a half before the tournament. I just saw the Nike International Friendies which had the US, England, Netherlands, and Brazil play with their U15 sides as well (next batch which will be in India) and honestly, it is amazing to tell just how much of the talent on the pitch is still just raw talent... talent that obviously has not been developed yet and just comes from the streets (Netherlands, Brazil, and somewhat England) and what comes from just sheer athleticism but developing technically (US).
India will be fine. These kids are only getting the proper training they are now getting just recently, and now under a really good coach IMO who I feel knows what he is doing and who wants to see results. These matches are to get these lads accustomed to a certain style of play and to get them to develop their individual skills without so much pressure.
