One worst thing about i-league is that all good Indian players you will find at 3 clubs. Out of which only 50-60% will get chance to play and rest will be back up. But still get selected for NT
And other 6-8 clubs will have some decent and half decent players. So those teams more rely on foreigners for results.
Salary difference may be the issue too. but players should also aim for playing time, what is point in warming benched if you are confident of your abilities
To add to the Sony Norde drama, Sony has now received offers from two Bangladeshi clubs, Sheikh Russel and Chittagong Abahani...if he signs for any of these two clubs, he will become the highest paid footballer in Bangladesh...Sk Russel will be releasing Fikru at the end of the season while current BPL leader, Abahani already have their fourth foreigner slot vacant http://insidenewsbangla.in/sports/sony-offer-bangladesh/
Why would he go back to Bangladesh? They play single round format, which means only 11 games. Also, with MB he will get to play in AFC Cup. This will help him get in National team
